You get to hear me speak on topics I have prepared just for you:

  1. Document your Common Ancestors in Congressional Records. Your ancestors petitioned Congress for pensions, for lands, for money, for aid against the Indians, for education for their children, for oil for their lamps and new farm engines–have you looked for these?  Come and I’ll teach you where to find the stuff, online and off.
  2. Basic Sources:  1775-1815 (the most difficult time period in American genealogy research).  I’ll have a special checklist of sources just for you.

Other speakers include  Holly Hansen (she doesn’t usually speak at EXPO’s–too busy doing stuff for you), Leland Meitzler (he’ll have his whole bookstore with him just for you), Marlo Schuldt (learn how to preserve your photographs old and new), Billy Edgington (Native American expert),  and your own Ruby Coleman.

This is your opportunity to attend an event close to home where you don’t have to use $5.00 per gallon gas.  Come join us for a unique, fun, and truly useful evening.  Your favorite genealogist, Arlene Eakle
