Live from the St George Family History Expo!

More than 1500 avid genealogists are gathered this weekend in chilly St George Utah for the Family History Expo–and loving every minute of the excitement:

  1. A full exhibit hall with software, genealogy how-to books, gadgets with internet and smart phone apps.
  2. Classes on these same topics to interest all levels of expertise and knowledge.
  3. Research help at my Genealogical Institute booth–you know that I do the research for you or show you how with step-by-step instructions, illustrated and sourced in the books that I write.
  4. Ask-the-Pros booth manned by genealogy experts.

One of my favorite parts of the Expo is the chance to talk with the genealogists to learn what their challenges are.  In the process I learn too.  And I discover what to include in my presentations to help them.

The syllabus for this event is included in a master syllabus for AZ and UT–including presentations made in Yuma AZ and Mesa AZ in January as well as this event in February in Utah.  Your favorite genealogist, Arlene Eakle

PS  Be sure to watch my speaking schedule–I will be coming to a city near you in the coming months–so I would love to see you and talk with you at one of these events.
