July is my favorite month–and I got lost in all the activities that July brings into my life, including the Sunday summer concerts on the lawn at Old Main, Utah State University.
Now it is August 1st. And my plans to blog about July, in July were lost too. You see, the flu bug felled me. Not since I was 16 and got the flu–in July–have I been quite as sick. I had my flu shot for 2014 too.
And as I lay in bed, unable to focus either my brain or my eyes, let alone my research skills, I discovered 100th and 75th and 50th anniversaries of some of the most important military actions the American Colonies and the United States of America participated in.
Well, so much for all of that. We’ll deal with military records and affairs some other time–
when I am strong enough to write for lengthy times and focused enough to make sense.
So, I am sorry for the lost month–your favorite genealogist, Arlene Eakle http://arleneeakle.com
