Hey guys–If you didn’t come to Jamboree 2016 –you are missing out on some pretty high-powered information. The Exhibit Hall has been filled most of the days with eager genealogists who wanted answers to their hardest questions! And the different booths seemed to be arranged in proximity so that you could go to the part of the Hall you wanted and get your answers from several vendors at once.
We have been across the aisle from Family Tree DNA and the societies who support DNA discoveries in the Southern California area. Right next to used was the Scottish Festival booth–with a marvelous database from Clan Graham maintained by Nellie Lowry–more than 250,000 entries for mostly American Grahams and their ties to Scotland. The database will also be present at the Seaside Highland Games October 8-9, 2016, Ventura County Fairgrounds.
