July is my favorite month–and I got lost in all the activities that July brings into my life, including the Sunday summer concerts on the lawn at Old Main, Utah State University.<\/p>\n
Now it is August 1st.\u00a0 And my plans to blog about July, in July were lost too.\u00a0 You see, the flu bug felled me.\u00a0 Not since I was 16 and got the flu–in July–have I been quite as sick.\u00a0 I had my flu shot for 2014 too.<\/p>\n
And as I lay in bed, unable to focus either my brain or my eyes, let alone my research skills, I discovered 100th and 75th and 50th anniversaries of some of the most important military actions the American Colonies and the United States of America participated in.<\/p>\n
Well, so much for all of that.\u00a0 We’ll deal with military records and affairs some other time–
\nwhen I am strong enough to write for lengthy times and focused enough to make sense.<\/p>\n
