The next Family History EXPO will be held at the conference center in San Mateo, October 7-8, 2011
San Mateo County Event Center

I plan ahead so that I have new books and other genealogy stuff that you did not have access to last year in Pleasanton or the year before in Redding. Did you know this is the third annual Northern California Family History Expo?
This year I have written 4 new books and updated a 5th–my Immigration Digest Bundle with 5 new volumes included! Just consider this list:
- Pennsylvania: Sources and Strategies (including how to find births, marriages, and deaths, in this state that did not record them until after 1900).
- North Carolina: Genealogy Strategies to Prove Your Pedigree. I include special techniques and sources to document your hard-to-find ancestors in one of the most difficult states.
- Georgia Ancestors: A Take-You-By-the-Hand Guide. The people who settled in Georgia have specific differences that enable you to trace them effectively. And the land records of Georgia are unique in America–you really can’t proceed to track your ancestors without this new guide.
- Tracing Immigrant Ancestors. All Americans are immigrants–even your Native American ancestors. Everyone began their lives somewhere else. This new guide includes some older sources you may have overlooked, strategies you may have forgotten in the excitement of the internet and Twitter, newly discovered sources you probably have not yet searched.
- Immigration Digest, Volumes 1-15 (including 5 new volumes just added). Volume 4: European Source Guides, German Boundary Atlas. Volume 6: New Emigration/Immigration Indexes. Volume 8: Huguenot Research Sources. Volume 12: New Indexes for European Ancestors. Volume 15: Genealogy Research Aids for British Isles Research.
And I am speaking on Tracing your Pedigree Ladies. I have given this presentation many times–it is one of my most popular topics and my signature presentation. This time however, if you attend, you will be part of the audience for a new series of Genealogy Teaching Packets called GenTeacher.
You will hear about sources for proving the ladies on your pedigree I have not stressed before–new strategies, new evidence, new illustrations. Guaranteed to give you a new shot at identifying your female side of the ancestor chart.
I invite you to attend, sign the model release (just in case your face is photographed during the filming), pick a chair near the front–where the action is. I need an attentive audience to inspire my very best presentation and to participate in this new launch.
The syllabus will be new and in a new format. New tech stuff available for sale, will challenge your skills. And build your genealogy experience.
You don’t want to miss this EXPO. Register now–discounted price until Sept 24th 2011. Register now online http://familyhistoryexpos.com

PS My booth is not the only place where you can get new and better genealogy stuff! Take a look at the vendors’ list online too. And the speakers.
