Genealogy Breaking News…

Another first for Family History Expos–and congratulations to MyHeritage.com.  Uploading the 1940 Census completely before any other company.  And provided both some indexed entries and access to the images.

You will want to attend the Houston Family History EXPO where Mark Olsen of MyHeritage will demonstrate how to use the 1940 Census live.   From their website –the first formal instruction on this great new genealogy database.  And we are very excited to present this debut to EXPO attendees!

37 million hits crashed Archives.com on 2 April when the census was officially released.  And left all these genealogists somewhat frustrated over the wait to access their ancestors-and probably a number of them tried to find their own entries.

Watch the Family History Expos website for the announcement of a brand new contest if you are in the 1940 census.  http://familyhistoryexpos.com

PS  You can also get in on this  new access on MyHeritage and FamilySearch computers  live at the Albuquerque Family History Expo under the expert tutelage of staff carefully trained to help you.
